Product Description

Voltaren Emulgel Back & Muscle Pain is a muscle pain reliever that helps reduce pain and inflammation. Voltaren Emulgel Back & Muscle Pain relieves back pain by helping your body to reduce the amount of pain chemicals (Ischemi) that cause back pain. Voltaren Emulgel Back & Muscle Pain relieves back pain is not a cure for pain, and symptoms of back pain may disappear after your body adjusts to the medicine. It is a natural way to reduce pain and reduce inflammation. Voltaren Emulgel Back & Muscle Pain relieves back pain may be used to treat other types of pain. However, this medicine is not a cure for back pain. It is a medicine that will help relieve back pain and reduce inflammation. It contains the active ingredient diclofenac. It works by decreasing the amount of pain chemicals (Ischem in the body). When you take diclofenac, the body absorbs diclofenac, which is then converted into its chemical Ischem by an enzyme called D-arginine monophosphate kinase (Dmon-Pki). Ischem activates an enzyme that is needed for the body to absorb D-arginine monophosphate kinase. This enzyme is typically located in the spinal cord and other parts of the brain. Diclofenac is the active ingredient in Voltaren Emulgel Back & Muscle Pain. Voltaren Emulgel Back & Muscle Pain relieves back pain by reducing the amount of pain chemicals (Ischem) that cause back pain.

Overview

Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength contains the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), diclofenac diethylamine. Diclofenac diethylamine works to relieve pain and reduce inflammation (swelling). It also relieve swelling (edema) caused by illnesses such as osteo-oncitis, rheumatoid arthritis, acute pain, and inflammation. Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength should be used with food to avoid before breakfast and at the same time each day."

Dosage and direction

Adults and children over 12 years: Apply gel to the affected areas twice a day. Do not use more than 4 g of gel in a day. If your symptoms are severe or you have no effect after 4 weeks apply a new gel or a second time apply the gel after a lotion containing aspirin or other painkillers. If your symptoms persist, talk to your GP. If symptoms persist for more than 4 weeks, contact your doctor.

For external use only. Do not wrap in airtight leafful of Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength if you are more than 12 weeks old. Do not apply Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength to open wounds, mucous membranes, or under the skin. Do not apply to broken, torn or infected areas. Apply to your skin at the first sign of an attack, skin reddening, blistering, stinging and peeling. Do not apply to skin that has an area where Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength has been applied. Do not cover yourself with a bandage, plaster or any other dressing. Apply to the affected skin area and cover with Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength.

Swift instructions

Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength should be used with food before breakfast. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Apply to skin that has applied the active ingredient for at least 4 weeks. If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor.

Overdose

In case of overdose, stop using the gel and consult a doctor. If your symptoms persist, talk to your doctor.

Side effects

Gel medication may cause stomach bleeding. Tell your doctor if this occurs after 1 week or if it occurs after 2 weeks if you are over 12 years old or more than 12 weeks pregnant. This effect usually resolves after you have finished the course. The most common side effects from gel medication are stomach bleeding, stomach pain, diarrhoea, dizziness, swelling, redness, blistering or peeling, peeling, red skin rash or hypersensitivity reaction.
